Sharing documents in one central location is essential to keeping everyone on the same page. With the
Document Manager, you can easily and safely share key documents with colleagues.

Use the Document Manager as a central repository to post:

· The latest sales presentation

· Next week's staffing schedule

· The cafeteria menu for the upcoming week or month

· Product literature

· Your company policy manual

· Forms you use regularly, such as vacation request forms, overtime slips, expense report forms

· Your company's artwork, logos, and templates

The Document Manager has a full permission system so you can decide which members have No Access, Read Only, or Edit access to a document.

Online Calendar(s)
Personal
Group

The Online Calendar informs everyone about the when, where, and what for key appointments and meetings. The Group Calendar has a full permission system so you can decide which members have No Access, Read Only, or
Edit access to a document.

The Calendar helps keep members up-to-date by displaying a schedule of events, such as:

· Department meetings

· Upcoming deadlines

· Company holidays

· Birthdays and special events

You can schedule personal or group-wide events, set email reminders for events, synchronize your Calendar with Microsoft Outlook or Palm.

Your private calendar lets you keep track of anything of a personal nature.

Members Directory

The Members Directory is your online directory of company members. Members are the people who have been granted access to your intranet by an administrator. They can access virtually all parts of the intranet and can typically post information there, too.

All of your intranet's members are listed in the Member Directory, along with their job titles, phone and fax numbers, email and street addresses. In or out of the office, members can easily get the information they need to contact colleagues. You can update the information quickly from anywhere and sync the directory with your Palm device and Outlook.

Contacts Directory

The Contacts Directory stores contact information about members, clients, and partners. With the Contacts Directory you can:

· Share important phones numbers and email addresses among your group

· Search for a contact by first or last name

· Send email to a selection of contacts

· Post a photo of each contact for easier recognition

· Synchronize your contact list with Outlook/Palm
This application serves as your online index of people whose contact information and pictures you want to make available to other members of your intranet. The Contacts Directory can include any outside partners, clients, vendors, suppliers, friends, or family members. Contacts also synchronizes with Microsoft Outlook and your Palm device.

Polling Application

Group Polling is a great way to make decisions, establish consensus, or just get a read on what your group is thinking.

· Where should we have this year's holiday party?

· Where would you like to order lunch on Friday?

· Who's your pick for tonight's game?

Post a poll and graphically watch the results tabulate. When you open a poll, each member you choose receives an email notification, asking them to vote. You can create single- or multi-answer polls, hold private or group-wide polls, and choose from several results notification options.

Palm/Outlook Synchronization

synchronization allows you to import or export contact, calendar, and task information to and from your intranet from your Palm® or Outlook® device.

Synchronize contacts, calendar entries, and tasks

If you already have contact information in Microsoft Outlook®, for example, you can import it directly into your intranet, making it available to other members of your company intranet site - without re-typing.

What else can you do with Outlook and Palm synchronization?

· Load up your intranet calendar and contact list for the first time by importing data from Outlook and Palm

· Export the group calendar events on your intranet to your Palm device

· Synchronize the tasks that are assigned to you in your intranet with those in Microsoft Outlook

· Export your intranet member list to Outlook or Palm

Synchronization compares the data in your intranet to the data in Outlook or Palm, and then makes any necessary changes to both systems to make sure they contain the same data.
